The ICRVN began as my home for everything you needed to know about stuff you didn't know you needed to know. Beginning as a clearinghouse for nerdy pursuits, it morphed into a home for all of my peculiarities, including my very own webcomic, CRASS FED. I hope you'll find something here you like. It's a labor of love third only to my wife and Kidlet, who along with Jamie Cosley I owe many thanks. Thanks for stopping by! Comments or questions to THEICRVN at GMAIL dot COM.

Nick and Nora Charles, by J. R. Deans (2013)
THE NICK AND NORA PROJECT
A place to share all of my original art commissions of William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles, my two favorite characters in all of cinema.  The collection began in 2011 with a quick piece by Ryan Dunlavey...and exploded from there.  Even if you aren't a fan of the films or characters you should find some fantastic art to enjoy and study.  My great thanks to everyone who has drawn these great characters for me.  I have thoroughly enjoyed building this collection.

Colleen is one of the many, many talented artists to be found at Periscope Studio, based in Portland, Oregon.  I discovered Colleen through stories she drew for Marvel, and I just love her elegant, whimsical style.  Colleen, along with her husband Paul Tobin, are the Eisner Award winning creators of BANDETTE from MonkeyBrain Comics.  Colleen and Paul are currently writing ADVENTURE TIME: FLIP SIDE for Boom! and created an amazing graphic novel titled GINGERBREAD GIRL about personality, finding ones place in the world, and the fragility of the mind.  This Nick and Nora by Colleen was one of the first in the collection.  When I picked up the piece, her husband let me know she had a lot of fun creating the work, so much so that she used it as an anchor image for her web shop.  Not only is Colleen a brilliant artist, she is also a lovely person, and more importantly was a sweetheart with my Kidlet.
